Stewarding efforts to protect the environment, ACADO Guyana has partnered with Caribbean Youth Environment Network in Guyana (CYEN) to execute their PROMAR Project: Prevention of Marine Litter in the Caribbean Sea. This initiative deployed over 50 individuals including the ACADO Team to collect and record litter spanning from the Kingston Bandstand to Camp Street.
The efforts were notable, since after the campaign the Kingston seawall’s beauty was restored. ACADO Guyana’s hope would be that through our donations, collaborations and raised awareness on the threats of littering to marine life that they would see a great effort to protect it from all stakeholders.
